U.S. car buyers have always been known for their penchant for high-performance vehicles. Apart from    offering the essentials, the needs of their carrier of choice to have at least a small degree of luxury. Luxury   aside, car buyers are also suitable for high-performance vehicles, with responsive handling and very comfortable seats.

Recently, however, reported the American International Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA), the car   buyer nowchange their preferences and also search for a specific attribute that a vehicle should have. The association reported that drivers are becoming more and more in love with silent cars.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the main cause is the noise from a vehicle its age. As a vehicle ages, just like people, it points to deficiencies, which may even cause vehicle breakdown. The international newspaper cited that the worst is the cause of noise in vehiclesWind. This refers to the fact that a sound that is produced when the wind flows over the contour of the vehicle.

For this reason, car manufacturers are looking to reduce the drag coefficient of their vehicles. A reduction of aerodynamic drag not only gives the car a good appearance, but it also increases the speed and reduces the number of faults produced by the wind flows over the vehicle.

The noise as the car's time has always been one of the problems ofAutomobiles. Car manufacturers are already taking steps to address the problem. Some of the players in the automotive industry that has taken steps to combat the wind noise, are General Motors, Hyundai, Ford and. The car companies are developing new materials that user on their vehicles to reduce the noise reaching the interior of the vehicle.

In addition to the use of new materials, these companies are also new manufacturing techniques to further improve noise reduction.Acoustic engineers are also used by these companies to monitor the development of tranquility cars.

Hyundai, the largest Korean car manufacturers is the use of electronically controlled adjustable engine mounts in the new Veracruz sport utility vehicle. Aside from the adjustable engine mount, so heavy, like a Volvo-rotor integrated into the Korean brand is also extra thick, lightweight foam insulation on the said SUV. The insulation reduces the amount of noise from theEngine compartment that goes right into the cockpit of the vehicle.

These improvements in newer models of the vehicle to close the gap between luxury and non-luxury vehicles. Since the cost of production of materials used in noise reduction, deeper, more and more vehicles will be quieter. This shows that the automotive industry is always what consumers want to vote. It is clear that drivers combine the absence of noise in the cockpit to the quality and the new vehicles, are produced by the automobile manufacturers blurring of the distinction between luxury and non-luxury vehicle. This will of course serve to benefit consumers.
